Since 1977 brella community services society has been making a difference in surrey and white rock through community-based services to older adults people living with dementia their families and caregivers enabling them to lead full engaged and meaningful lives. Our vision is to live in a safe inclusive engaging and diverse community where older adults experience dignity and feel valued. Our values are: integrity respect compassion inclusiveness collaboration and excellence. We currently employ 53 team members and have a roster of 120 active volunteers supporting our community. We operate from facilities in south surrey newton and guildford and offer programs under three services areas: adult day program; dementia caregiver and family services; and community services including better at home. Our strategic goals are: 1. To provide innovative person-centered and responsive services that maximize the well-being of older adults families and caregivers in our communities. 2. To promote and create an inclusive and diverse environment where older adults are respected and feel valued. 3. To cultivate collaborative partnershisp with individualls non-profits businesses academia governments funders and donors. 4. To secure sustainable and diversified funding sources for current and future services. 5. To establish a cohesive knowledgeable and enduring organization that is recognized as a leader in the region. We continue to develop new programs within our service areas to respond to the growing needs of older adults people living with dementia caregivers and families in our community.
