The role of the blanche river health foundation is to raise funds for the benefits of the kirkland lake and englehart catchment areas of blanche river heatlh. Health funding from the government excludes the purhcase of equipment and only pays a portion of capital projects to improve facilities. Funding for equipment and capital projects must be raised in the community. The fund balances and operations of the foundation are ultimately for the benefit of blanche river health. The blanche river health foundation is a registered charitables organization charged with the responsibility of supporting these improvements through the generosity of its community blanche river health foundation is now participating in split the pot which is run by grand river hospital and individuals are able to specify where they want the percentage of their ticket purchases to be disburses
