Ongoing programs 1. One-on-one pastoral counseling. Be it in the context of a spiritual care plan or as needed the better life' clinical team in trained to offer various types of counseling from spiritual direction emotional and behavioural therpay life coaching to crisi prevention and cism. Complex cases requiring specialized intervention beyond the scope or capacity of the current staff are referred to appropriate service providers and clinicals. 2. Mediation and conflict resolution. Our chaplaincy team is ready to assist offenders in their reconciliation and restorative justice efforts. Better life can facilitate the process and/or refer and assist offenders who seek the help of other capable community partners. 3. One-on-one community mentoring. Volunteer spiritual caregivers meet regularly with the offender outside formal religious gatherings and programs to provide support according to their level of capacity and availability. Purposes include spiritual formation prayer accountability encouragement leisure practical assistance and so forth. Volunteers are also encouraged to introduced their match to the faith-community to which they belong while doing respectfully and without pressure. 4.
