The objective of the foundation is to raise receive and maintain funds from members of the public during periodic campaigns and fund raising activities as well as to accept donations from buduchnist credit union and the general public for the distribution to and support of registered charities. To advance the public's appreciation of the arts and to promote excellence in the arts by awarding annual prizes to deserving artists of artistic works about the ukrainian people their history language and culture. To advance education bu providing educational programs resources and toold about history of ukraine and the ukrainian people for the general public. To relieve poverty by providing the basic necessities of life including food clean water clothing shelter medical supplies and/or education to individuals and families in canada ukraine and elsewhere who are poor low income or in need.
