Ethics training and education are offered through a lift program initially developed by the markkula center for applied ethics in santa clara california. Lift is not an acronym. It means 'lifting oneself to a higher level.' the program is free to unemployed students and adults. Courses are also available for adults in colleges organizations and businesses. It is primarily delivered through a 'train the trainer' method. Teachers and leaders in schools and organizations are trained as facilitators to deliver the three module course. Students who complete the course receive a business ethics certificate.
