Basically Babies LTD

The role of basically babies is o advance and protect the welfare of infants born into families in extreme need through the provision of a beautiful gift of a gender-specific cost-effective baby layette which contains a one year supply of baby clothing and accessories. This layette contains essential items for outfitting a baby such as snowsuits outfits sleepers undershirts socks shoes slippers mittens toques blankets bibs books and toys in appropriate colors and sizes for each baby. Each layette contains approximately 120 items all of which combine fo form a package that can supply the needs over the baby's first year of life. Our desire is to communicate value dignity and hope to the recipient families while providing opportunities for committed volunteers to serve our fellow community members. Our layette program is our only focus and occupies our entire operations including warehousing of inventory items producation of the layettes and operational and administrative activities around this. During the fiscal year (july 1 2023 - june 30 2024) basically babies prepared/distributed just over 850 layettes to families in extreme need through over 125 charities non-profits and health care organizations located within the greater edmonton and calgary areas.
