Basic Health International Foundation (bhif)

Develop support and encourage self-sustainability of health care in remote communities. The emphasis is on prevention education and self-sustainability early diagnosis and treatment. Programs try to incorporate both local indigenous as well as western solutions depending on the specific needs of each community. Specific areas of interest include clean water nutrition immunizations maternal/child health infectious child/health infectious disease therapeutics health education and exploring innovative investigatory tools for practical use in remote areas.
