Barriere Outdoor Society

Maintain hiking snowshoeing + x-country ski trails and facilities at barriere forks regional park. Providing lessons in same plus pickleball to local school students and providing the equipment. Organizing hiking excursions in north thompson and surrounding area. Running annual 'barriere amazing race' for all ages at the forks regional park. All ages pickle ball at local town hall gym and outdoors at tennis courts. Promoting physical literacy and fitness. A walking program for the community. Promoting health and wellness in the community through walking. Participants were using the therapeutic poles and walking poles provided for the walk.
