Barriere and District Heritage Society

The barriere & district heritage society is a volunteer non profit organization that operates the north thompson museum & archives in barriere bc. The mandate of the museum is to collect store and diseminate history of the north thompson valley in pictures artifacts oral and written history. Provide employment through canada summer jobs participate in community functions by doing historical displays using pictures and artifacts tours of the museum assist with research for local school projects and community members. The members will open the museum and any time of the year for tours or visitors..
