Avi provides preventative education and support programs to people living with affected by ans at-rick for hiv hepatitis c and substance use on vancouver island. Targeted prevention and support programs are aimed to men who have sex with men indigenous communities women street-involved adults and youth prisoners and people who use substances. We provide long and short-term solutions based counseling advocacy support and referrals as well as workshops presentations and awareness events in the community. We also have one opioid substitution health clinics and a health canada funded prescribed alternatives programs in the south central and north of vancouver island. The organization further provides volunteer and community engagement opportunities to clients and the general public.
