Avalon Alliance Church

Weekly worship services weekly christian education classes for preschool aged children up to adults summer vacation bible school program. We provide pastoral care and give benevolent assistance to needy persons families and other charities that assist the needy in our community. We provide ministry to children youth women men and marriages on a weekly biweekly and monthly basis. We conduct annual retreats for men and women. We donate funds to the christian and missionary alliance in canada for education and for domestic and overseas missionary activities. We have participated in short term mission teams in canada and sometimes overseas. We participate in community outreach events. We have made refugee sponsorship a priority and our second sponsored refugee to canada just completed his first year. We have a parish nursing program designed to help people access programs needed in the areas of mental health and physical health. We participate in community events and are actively looking for ways to come along side events happening in and around our area. We are in the initial stages of connecting with a local school that due to circumstances beyond their control do not have a lot of parental involvement to see if we could provide some ongiong support in their 'muffin and a book' program and other programs where other schools have heavy parental presence.
