Auberge Shalom pour femmes

Auberge shalom pour femmes is a centre for abused women and their children. The organisation offers the following services and programs: -shelter 24/7 and external counselling in confidential locations accessible to women with mobility limitations -services for children -crisis intervention individual counselling advocacy accompaniment and language interpretation services for its clients -community support groups -monthly activity club -operates a 24/7 telephone support line in the community -provides community education -offers a volunteer program to assist the clientele and for administration support -our members (including board and in-house volunteers) contributed over 4 000 hours of their time to committees activities and fundraising initiatives
