Art Gallery of Mississauga

In 2024 the AGM continued to offer in person and online programming and workshops events and panels. The AGM's mission is to bring art to the community and the community to art by enriching the cultural and diverse fabric of Mississauga. The AGM engages the community both online and in person with a variety of innovative programs facilitated by artists and supported by AGM volunteers. In addition to our Art Hive Family Sundays Sauga Connections and Tot Spot workshops and artist talks/panels portfolio reviews we featured our annual juried show and a number of exciting exhibitions/openings. All our events and programming as well as admission to the Gallery is free. The Art Gallery of Mississauga is committed to bringing people and communities together using art as a common denominator. In 2024 the AGM continued to offer a series of new exhibitions virtual tours and new exhibition related artist talks. The year began with an indigenous exhibition - inawendiwok followed by Undergrowth a group exhibition Across Latitudes closing off the year with our annual Juried Show. . In addition to out exhibitions new programming included workshops withing Mississauga Community Centres and in the Central Library tours and activities.
