• Support the monastery and the monastic community. • Promote the teachings of the Buddha through spiritual guidance from the Abbot; weekly line online live dharma talk a talk at the centre and travelling to other communities; use of the library; spring book study; mindfulness days newsletter and website. • Videos on teachings are available on You Tube audio talks on the website. • The Abbot also provides mediation instructions and teachings by request • The centre is open every day: anyone can come visit for the day • Provide opportunity for a volunteer stewardship serving the hermitage community. • Allow individuals thinking of becoming a monk or nun to receive basic information and/or training before seeking ordination. • All aspects of the hermitage are run 100% by volunteers
