Open to the public 2 days/week year round research requests requests for historical information photos books; preseve + organize materials received; create presentations to schools on local history and slide shows for the public; sell history books + dvd's about local history; create + upload slide shows to youtube; volunteers clip newspaper articles + compile in binders; continue with school visits to the archives two showings of a movie 'the last stop' on local history; slide show for an outdoor school's visit to our area; updating and reprinting the walking tour of historical buildings and al historical society brochures : updated photo finding aid and data base/collection; now able to offer the service vhs to hard drive/usb/dvd and to transfer 3.5' floppy discs documents to usb/hard drive
