Argus-Residence for Young People

To relieve poverty by providing food and other basic supplies to persons of low income by establishing operating and maintaining shelters for the homeless and by providing counselling and other similar programs to relieve poverty. To develop employment training and education programs for needy persons. Residential homes for youth ages 14-18 who are low income were provided food lodging and personal needs. Firstconnect continued its phone program working with ages 18+ who are homeless or at risk of being homeless. Yess - ecoworks program continued to offer employment training programs using our social enterprise as a base. Workshops and work experience for 12 week segments.bridges4youth was established working with youth who have disabilities offering them workshops and finding work placements for each youth.
