Appease Hunger

Regular monthly programs provided by canadian sponsors to assist poor families in 2 dioceses in kerala state s. India to assist in providing one good meal per day plus general subsistance. Special project funds also go to the poor sick and elderly to help them survive with dignity; supply tools and manual training for youth who receive basic business practices and crafts; provide home care day care for single parent families food and clothing for children in regular attendance in school; some help given for medical expenses not provided by the india government including basic hospitilization and minor surgery with prosthetics for the lame and crippled etc; some help for unemployed and those in group homes receiving physiotherapy so they may return to work; some orphans are given basic pre-school education supplies; some support to homes for indigenous men and women who receive re-training to enter the workforce and live productive lives none due to changes in regulations regarding foreign donations coming into india our attemps at sending funds in 2024 were all returned. The situation was rectified in 2025
