Apohaqui-Lower Millstream Recreational Council Inc.

Our recreation council continues to maintain a community hall and a groomed park which includes a playground multi purpose court picnic facilities and boat launch. We have volunter 15 directors who carry out community activities and the upkeep of these facilities with the help of community members fund raising & grants from federal and provincial governments. Community events such as weddings/showers family reunions funeral receptions and elections sponsored by the council. We have ongoing ping pong pickle ball canoe & kayak enthusiasts history club and fiddling group using the hall and park on a regular basis. The park is used by the general public for family events. We hold canada day celebrations every year which is enjoyed by everyone. The council donates to local school events christmas basket and various hospitals. Working toward fixing up or adding new playground equipment to the park
