About Aok Acts of Kindness Society

We run support groups for single moms and mental health support groups for those dealing with depression anxiety and loss. We run healthy cooking schools and lifestyle classes to teach health principles proper diet and healthy food prep. We operate programs which assists moms without adequate financial means with transportation vehicle repairs and instruction on basic maintenance. We educate the public to advance and teach the religious beliefs of the christian faith. We offer a program which provides food and other basic supplies for individuals and families in need. We run programs for the purpose of assisting and training individuals and families how to perform urgently needed repairs to homes to make them safe and healthy place to reside. We educate moms through programs which assists single mothers and other persons with basic life skills including food preparation household and domestic skills budgeting financial management first aid medical care and treatment. We run a summer camp and day camp programs for kids to provide education training and instruction for children and youth. We give free meals to the homeless weekly. We run dental and health programs for those in need and to develop and improve public health by educating and instructing the public on the prevention of and curative measures for health problems and providing medical and health services. Our 'aspire' program is an integrative opportunity that helps kids heal and break the cycle of poverty through a unique blend of the arts cultural classes mental health support and spiritual growth services aiming at developing them physically intellectually socially and spiritually. Over the course of this project our goal is to help 100+ families and specifically 200+ kids not only heal but also grow their capacity to dream exercise physically and maximize their creative contribution to rebuilding their community.
