Care of homeless animals through adoptions. Promotion of spay/enuter of all companion animals. Outreach program to assist low income people access veterinary care including spay neuter and vaccinations. Provide emergency foster care to pets of women who are experiencing domestic violence and are seeking safety for themselves and their companion animals. As a rescue group we are continuing to see the effects of puppy mills. With the change in the economy puppy mill operators are disposing many of their breeding dogs. These dogs require a lot of vet care and behaviour training in order to find them new homes. We have also expanded our outreach to assist low income households with companion pets who require emergency vet care diagnostics and ongoing assistance with medications.
