Ancaster Horticultural Society

The mission for the ancaster horticultural society is twofold. We beautify ancaster with the volunteer garden maintenance at four municipal gardens. Beautification is also encouraged by our trillium awards program. We also educate with our monthly speakers series which is free to the public. We toured the nearby hamilton conservation area with a local naturalist. He pointed out native trees and shrubs and how local animals use them as we do as humans. We also had a one day tour of a nearby dairy farm.
