To promote health of individuals with alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency by: a) increasing availability of necessary medical treatments and medication; b) providing access to related counselling information and support programs and; c) providing information about alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency to medical practitioners 2. To receive and maintain funds and to apply all or part of the principal and income therefrom from time to time to charitable organizations that are also registered charities under the income tax act.
