All-Together Affordable Housing Corporation

The Quinte Community and Housing First Partnership addresses all of the major outcomes of the Belleville Community Plan and Reaching Home Priorities and as such is viewed as an important player in an integrated co-ordinated community approach to homelessness. All-Together is the lead agency for the Partnership and local Housing First champion. Our efforts to reduce homelessness through our own housing projects have been recognized in Parliament by our former local MP. Our Partnership model was awarded a Seed Grant in 2018 by the Ontario Trillium Foundation recognizing our efforts to build better lives for vulnerable individuals (including those who were homeless or at risk of homelessness) by connecting them to affordable housing and community services. December 2019 our Partnership was awarded funding by the Catherine Donnelly Foundation for its unique partnership with private market landlords to create more affordable housing and we are grateful for the support we have received from United Way-HPE and Reaching Home in the past. Successfully we raised more than $350 000 to renovate a donated property at 51 Victoria Avenue. The completed project includes a mix of affordable and transitional units. The Victoria Avenue housing project is now a part of the Quinte Community and Housing First Partnership. 24 Starling Street in Belleville is another successful project. It is an 18-unit affordable housing building created through the Affordable Housing Initiative in agreement with Hastings County in 2009. The owner of Springale Mr Phil Spry is the President of MAPS Development Corporation responsible for the development of 52 units of affordable housing at 450 Sidney Street Belleville. Starling Street will be brought under the umbrella of the Partnership in 2023. All-Together Affordable Housing Corporation and Springale Development have formed a Joint Venture Agreement for the purpose of creating more affordable housing projects in Belleville Quinte West and Ha
