Alberta Labour History Institute

Production of alberta labour history calendar; production of labour history booklets; production of labour history videos based on our interviews and archival and secondary research; adding interview transcripts profiles of interviewees podcasts of highlights of interviews and photographs of interviewees to our website; producing thematic overviews to accompany materials on our website; hosting on-line workshops on labour themes e.g. Women in skilled trades; cooperating with unions and other groups such as immigrant workers' organizations to produce relevant historical materials. There are about 180 volunteer hours per month contribute to all of the above goals. Alberta labour history institute currently has about 30 volunteers.
