Food bank provides food packages to families and individuals facing food in security in albert county nb. Christmas aid provides extra food for families and individuals facing food insecurity in albert county nb at chritsmas time. No new programs however during and since covid the food bank has had to make changes to operations to safely provide food boxes to clients. Before covid the entire operation was volunteer-driven. Due to the fact that most volunteers are seniors and many with medical issues they are no longer volunteering. Another factor that needed to be considered was the limited floor space of the food bank. These combined factors have forced the food bank to hire a contract worker to oversee operations.
