Charity arranges the five prayers per day everyday provides the Islamic education to children delivers weekly lectures arranges various events throughout the year including a big event of Ramadan Eid Ul Fitr Eid Ul Adha Eid Milad Un Nabi (Peace be upon him) etc. Al-Madinah Calgary Islamic Assembly has started a big project of an Islamic School to serve the community operations have commenced in September 2024. The K to 9 school will cover the Alberta curriculum as well as offering Islamic studies and language studies for girls and boys. 'The school is a non-profit private public school and any Calgarian can be admitted. School teaches the Alberta curriculum with options to learn Islamic studies Arabic or Urdu languages. The finished school will include a playground gymnasium cafeteria and a place for pre-school kids. The final cost is expected to be in the region of above $25 million.
