Air Cadet League of Canada Ontario Provincial Committee

Administer in partnership with the Department of National Defence under a M.O.U. and the Air Cadet League of Canada (Ontario Provincial Committee) under the aegis of the Air Cadet League of Canada (National HQ) a squadron youth unit fostering development of citizenship leadership and life skills around an interest in aviation to youths aged 12 to 18 years. The youth of the squadron participate in local training in programs developed under Department of Nation Defence guidelines during the school year and attend sumer courses at DND training centres ranging from 2 to 8 weeks in duration where they participate in training ranging from basic to advanced courses including DOT licensed power/glider pilot leadership survival aviation technical studies and music. Air Cadets also participate in civic activities within their local communities such as Cadets Caring for Canada Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund Remembrance Day Civic parades food drives Adopt a Highway Government Ceremonies and Canada Day.
