Air Cadet League of Canada - Forest City Squadron No 614

Administer in partnership with the department of national defense under mou and their air cadet league of canada (national hq) a squadron youth unit fostsering the development of citizenship leadership and life skills around an interest in aviation to youth 12-18. The men and women of the squadron participate in local training in a program developed under the dnd guidelines during a school year attend summer courses at dndn training camps of 1-8 weeks covering a variety of topics ranging from basic to an 8 week power/gliderpilot licences to transport canada standards survival instructor aviation technical and band courses among others. They also participate and support various civic activities in their communities such as annual poppy drives remembrance day observances and visit hospitalized veterans.
