Ahlul-Bayt Community Center - Ottawa

The purpose of the corporation is to advance the islamic faith according to the shia ithna-ashari school of thought (hereinafter referred to as the 'islamic faith' by: (a) establishing and operating a private primary school offering the ontario academic curriculum from jk to grade 10 as well as arabic and islamic studies; (b) providing publicly available scholarships bursaries and other forms of financial assistance to students in financial need to be used for primary school education (c) preaching the teachings and religious tenets doctrines and observances associated with the islamic faith; (d) establishing a facility to be used for religious programs workshops music and qur'anic and arabic studies; (e) address and prevent problems faced by youth by operating a supervised drop-in centre that provides structured programs directed toward youth at-risk; and (f) by providing leadership training through a scouting program to foster good citizenship
