Agriculture in the Classroom Nl Inc.

The organization implemented the following programs during the prior years to provide educators and students with educational resources and programs that promote agriculture as an important contributor to the economy and our everyday life. Programs offered will included 'little green thumbs' - an indoor gardening program for elementary students 'rooting for health' - an event created to celebrate nutrition month 'canadian agriculture literacy month' - connects the students with farmers and agriculture professionals directly in the classroom and virtual farm tours will be developed on our website. The teachers and farmers involved in the programs are volunteers.
