The corporation's mandate is to provide educational programs to youths surrounding the importance of food production farming and farm safety. Programs include: classroom agricultural program: the classroom agriculture program (cap) is a well-known and highly respected agriculture education program that is currently reaching over 15 000 grade 4 alberta students annually. Farm and rural safety programming-supports farm and rural safety programs with a goal of reducing injuries and fatalities. Spuds & tubs-encouraging interest and kowledge in agriculture by providing resources for students to grow their own potates in a classroom and as a community. Online resources developed to allow teachers to access in order facilitie remote learning related to the society's programs
