About Acts 3 Foundation

Purpose of Corporation a. To advance religion by teaching the religious tenets doctrines and observances associated with the Christian faith. b. To relieve poverty by providing basic necessities of life including food clean water clothing and/or shelter to children who are in need in Bolivia. c. To advance education by providing publicly available scholarships bursaries and other forms of financial assistance to students in need to be used for post-secondary education. d. To undertake activities ancillary and incidental to the attainment of the above charitable purposes. In 2024 two directors travelled to Cochabamba Bolivia in November to deepen relationships to prepare the way for full-time charitable work in Bolivia for two of the directors. The team visited two jails a Christian elementary/high school and a Bolivian public elementary school. The team purchased medicine twice for one prison and food for the other prison. Small grants were made to three grantees. Two are Bolivian non-profits that specialize in feeding and educating children living in prison and street children. The third was a Bolivian public elementary school that is situated in an at-risk community. One director preached at the Bolivian church that is also the Foundation's intermediary. The Foundation amended its Purpose to include the providing of financial assistance to students pursuing post-secondary education. The Foundation incurred legal expenses to modify its Purposes. A Bolivian girl who had been raised in prison with her incarcerated father and assisted through the Christian elementary/high school was identified as a promising and deserving recipient of financial assistance. In 2024 the first semester of her Medical school tuition was paid for by the Foundation with a commitment to support her until graduation.
