Acted Canada

During the 2024 fiscal year Acted Canada did not directly implement charitable programs. Instead the organization concentrated its efforts on strategic activities aimed at strengthening its institutional presence and partnerships. Operating primarily through its Ottawa office Acted Canada focused on fundraising advocacy and high-level networking with governmental bodies donors and other key stakeholders. A significant part of its work involved administering the multisectoral Nexus Working Group which serves as a collaborative platform for policy dialogue and coordination among humanitarian development and peacebuilding actors. Additionally Acted Canada played a leading role in organizing the Convergence Forum 2024 a flagship event that brought together experts and decision-makers to advance the Nexus Policy development agenda.
