To relieve poverty by promoting greater efficiencies within the agricultural or aquaculture industry for the benefit of the public for low income persons in developing countries by: - providing training resources and best practices to farmers that are poor; - facilitating the purchase of products from farmers that are poor; and - creating industry-wide standards developing and disseminating new scientific and technological knowledge related to the agricultural and aquacultural industries in developing nations.
