A Place Called Home Residence in Lindsay

A place called home operates 1 19-bed hostel for homeless single adults couples & families wiith children. Services include 24-hour staffing & support; advocacy & referral services; meals laundry & shower facilities. Staff assists each client develop a personal plan of action to assist them find safe & affordable permanent housing; hopefully ending a possible cycle of homelessness. In addtion apch has a number of programs which prevent homelessness. Transitional housing to 5 to 6 high-needs clients at an adjacent building to the main shelter.
