5n2 Soup Kitchen Project

Free meal program (5n2 kitchens) 5n2 kitchens prepares free meals that are distributed through 13 partnerships including shelters low-income communities individuals and food banks. Pantry program (5n2 pantry) 5n2 pantry has been operating a food pantry for clients who cannot access conventional food banks. This enables clients to access food supplies through a referral system with their partnership organizations. Farm program (5n2 farms) the 5n2 farm proejct was started to support the many free food programs at 5n2. Through the 5n2 farm project produce is grown hydroponically year round encouraging the community to include green leafy produce into their diets and promote growing locally. Garden proejct (5n2 gardens) the 5n2 community garden is a space for community members of all backgrounds to connect and grow together. The community will learn to build and sustain a garden plot to help educate others on the healthy principles associated with farm to table growing creating a more food secure community.
