15th Field Artillery Regiment Royal Canadian Artillery Museum and Archives Society

1. To collect preserve display and interpret canadian military artifacts and 2. To maintain an archive of photographs documents and publications and 3. To operate a museum that is open to the public without cost and 4. To assist a gun drill re-enactment group for public historic events and 5. To assist in the restoration of historic artillery equipment and vehicles and 6. To publicize the museums's collection and activities by means of the internet and 7. To meet with other military museum volunteers in order to discuss similar issues as well as to learn about the activities of other regional military museums. This is also an opportunity to share best practices. 1. Organized an afternoon meeting at the bessborough armoury to discuss recent initiatives and challenges. 2. Established an agreement with a local school district to facilitate classroom visits by one of our volunteers.
