100 Strong Foundation

'strong academy - a summer program designed to mobilize and equip young black boys with the tools necessary to achieve their maximum potential in education and build on life skills. Built on empowering valuing and appreciating the educational value that black boys bring to society the curriculum marries the concepts of academic theory and experiential learning in conjunction with real world experiences while focusing on the holistic learner. Mentorship program - youth with mentors are shown to have increased likelihood of attending college having a more positive attitude towards school higher social and emotional development and imrpoved self-esteem. Mentors have the ability to share experiences knowledge support and advice that students may not have access to through school or their lives otherwise.'
