Youngcare provides grants and delivers purpose build specialist disability accommodation (SDA) for young people with high care needs to enable them to move out or avoid inappropriate accommodation such as aged care homes. Youngcare raises funds to support these young people with high care needs to live with dignity, choice and control. Youngcare also conducts public advocacy campaigns to raise awareness of the issue and to foster an inclusive integrated community. Youngcare also provides a national support phone line service to provide advice and assistance to young people with high care needs to navigate NDIS and identify other supports available to them.
