Young People Making A Difference

Young People Making a Difference (YPMAD) delivered four campbased intervention programs for atrisk young people aged 12 18 across the 2023 24 financial year. Programs were held at Boyne Island Environmental Education Centre and Elouera Guide Camp, Queensland. Each camp ran over three days for our normal programs and five days for our leaders training. This included facilitated sessions on Addictive and Destructive Behaviour, Grief, Family Matters, and personal leadership. Sessions were designed and delivered by trained volunteer youth facilitators using a peersupport and mentorship model. The organisation also undertook planning, volunteer coordination, and community outreach activities throughout the year to support ongoing program delivery.
