In conjunction with Gondwana Link Ltd we have continued to seek Noongar ownership and management of the property we hold, which is considered to have important and sensitive cultural sites on it. The proposed transfer to a Noongar entity is closely allied to our Mission and main aims. In this reporting period we worked with the main Noongar group for the area and are discussing details of a property transfer. While this is happening, we have continued to supply essential levels of property management. This work is ongoing. There is a regulated weed species on the property CottonBush and we continue to control it as best we can. Exemption from firebreak requirements was ongoing, given the need to avoid mechanical disturbance of the stone arrangements. We have continued liaison with the original owners, and in 2024 they met with the Noongar group to start passing on their knowledge of the horticultural plantings on the property.
