About Women of Colour LTD

In 2024, Women of Colour Australia (WoCA) continued to make significant progress in advancing our mission by offering impactful programs and resources that empower women from diverse cultural backgrounds. Our tailored leadership development programs, mentoring opportunities, and advocacy initiatives have enabled Women of Colour to break barriers and cultivate inclusive professional networks. By fostering intersectionality and promoting selfadvocacy, WoCA has played a critical role in shaping the success and visibility of Women of Colour across various industries. Through our work, we have contributed to a more equitable and inclusive society, where Women of Colour are recognised as influential leaders and catalysts for positive change. Women of Colour Executive Leadership Program (WoC ELP) Our flagship program, the Women of Colour Executive Leadership Program, provided 16 highpotential Women of Colour including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women with the opportunity to enhance their leadership skills, build their professional networks, and prepare for senior leadership roles. This intensive program combined workshops, mentorship, and coaching, as well as exposure to industry leaders and networking opportunities. Participants reported increased confidence, improved leadership skills, and a stronger sense of community. The Women of Colour Executive Leadership Program was made possible through the generous support of the Victorian government, Office for Women, Department of Families, Fairness and Housing. The government's investment in this program highlights their commitment to supporting the advancement of Women of Colour in leadership positions and promoting diversity and inclusion within the state. WoCMentorWoC Program Our Women of Colour Mentorship Program successfully paired 20 mentors and mentees, creating opportunities for meaningful mentorship relationships between emerging and experienced Women of Colour leaders. This program provided mentees with personalised guidance, support, and networking opportunities, helping them to develop their careers and navigate professional challenges. Mentees reported increased confidence, improved career clarity, and stronger professional networks, demonstrating the positive impact of investing in the leadership potential of Women of Colour. The Women of Colour Mentorship Program was funded by Bank Australia, a valuesbased bank that is committed to creating a fairer and more sustainable world.
