Women In Harmony Inc

We are a multicultural, multilingual women's choir and as such aim to promote understanding, acceptance and friendship between women of all cultures. We aim to promote the benefits of intercultural understanding and harmony to the wider community. We do this through meeting weekly to rehearse and socialise, through performing at community events and through supporting other choirs, groups and community organisations through our performances. Our performing workgives our members shared goals to work towards. Our repertoire is designed to educate our audience members about the variety of cultures in our group. Our choir are very supportive of members through personal life events. After being a choir for nineteen years we are an integral part of many members lives. Women in Harmony has also commenced the planning and early implementation of a programme to train much needed future conductors and accompanists to take up positions in our regional areas of Queensland. 2026 is the choirs 20 year anniversary.
