With the assistance of some paid parttime and casual staff, volunteers provide a range of services to the Veteran Community and their families in the ACT and surrounding region. Key activities include: Conducting events to mitigate social isolation and promote a feeling of wellbeing in the beneficiaries and volunteers. Advocating for compensation entitlements. Assisting members and others to access essential services that provide for their wellbeing and their general lifestyle (their very existence). Conducting ceremonial and commemorative activities. Advocating with Governments and other organisations regarding the availability and efficacy of critical services and support.
