Welfare Nepal Incorporated

The main objective of Welfare Nepal (WN) is to improve education access to the underprivileged students for their better future. Beneficiary students were selected by School Management Committee based on their socioeconomic background. WN supported 123 students form four schools by providing school uniform, shoes/socks, school bag, stationaries and basic lunch allowance. As the dropout rate in the underprivileged students is high, WN strongly believes that the educational material and financial support provided by WN will encourage the students and their parents to continuity their education. WN s effort is to encourage children to attend school to provide them an opportunity to education. WN do not judge student s performance based on report card but the school attendance. WN believes that every child has their own ability, and skill hence results of regular subjects of school is not a measure for us, but attendance is as it ensures they are exposed to knowledge. When a child is educated, he/she will explore his/her way to a better future and that is our intention with each of our project.
