In the 2023/2024 financial year, Welcome to Country made strong progress towards its mission of economic empowerment and cultural preservation for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. During this period, we focused on growing our national marketplace, enabling more First Nationsowned businesses to connect with consumers across Australia. Our work helped create employment opportunities, supported business development, and provided targeted assistance in marketing and skills training to ensure the sustainable growth of Indigenous enterprises. Our impact extended to beneficiaries in every state and territory, including First Nations individuals, businesses, notforprofits, and community organisations. This work has continued to strengthen selfdetermination and economic participation within Indigenous communities.
