Community engagement, promoting the benefits of volunteering, educate people on how to get into volunteering and encourage people by identifying what opportunities are available Supported and assisted the regions volunteer involving organisations, which included, recruitment of volunteers, training, assistance with governance & compliance, general support and advice. A strong focus on creating opportunities for unemployed, people with a disability, new migrants, fist nation, youth and vulnerable women. Undertook Community Programs where volunteering can link to benefiting individuals e.g Impacting a Pathway to Employment Provider of community services through the recruitment and training of our own volunteers e.g community transport, Financial Literacy Encouraged and provided opportunities for VIO s to appreciate and recognise the important role volunteers play
