Recognised as the national peak body for volunteering in Australia, we played an important leadership role among our members, the sector, and to the community more widely to lead, strengthen, and celebrate volunteering in Australia. We actively informed policy and advocacy work, provided consultative feedback and input to Government to influence public policy, and highlighted its impact on Australia s volunteers, and the organisations to which they offer their time.
