Vietnamese Museum Australia LTD

The Vietnamese community in Australia has aspired to build a Vietnamese refugee museum for more than two decades. Vietnamese Museum Australia Ltd's mission is to bring this aspiration to life by building a museum in Australia to preserve and tell the stories of the Vietnamese diaspora in Australia so future generations understand the sacrifices their ancestors made and why they made them. The museum will also double as a community centre for VietnameseAustralians and other multicultural communities in Australia. During the 2024 reporting period to 30 June 2024, Vietnamese Museum Australia Ltd conducted activities to prepare for the commencement of construction of the museum, through engagement with relevant stakeholders and the Vietnamese community.
