The principal purposes of the Company are to: promote the prevention or control of drug addiction; and promote the prevention and control of diseases associated with use of drugs. In furtherance of the principal purposes, the objects of the Company are: to develop and promote policy and strategies to prevent or control drug addiction and other drugrelated diseases; to support communities in developing and implementing strategies to reduce risk factors for and enhance protective factors against drug addiction and other drug related diseases; to promote wellbeing and selfregulation of drug use among people who use drugs; to promote peer education as a strategy to enhance social regulation of drug use; and to act as an advocate for services that help prevent or control drug addiction and other drugrelated diseases.
